This course is a series of ½ day workshops which give practical ideas about how to provide strong leadership.
The training is delivered by Connect in the North. They have been delivering person centred thinking training for over 25 years.
Participants can book on all or just some of the sessions.
Day 1
Person Centred Organisations
Wednesday 21st October 2026

Recognise the characteristics of person centred organisations and assess your own service and management style.
Day 2
Person Centred Leadership
Wednesday 4th November 2026

Develop your leadership skills and find new ways to inspire your team and change lives.
Day 3
Co-Production and Meaningful Involvement
Wednesday 2nd December 2026
9:30AM-12:30PM
Find new ways to meaningfully involve people with learning disabilities in shaping services. You will be introduced to a range of participatory learning and action tools.
Day 4
Building Person Centred Teams
Wednesday 13th January 2027
9:30AM-12:30PM
Understand the value of difference within a team. Know how to solve problems co-operatively and creatively. You will understand the value of consensus decision making.
Day 5
Person Centred Thinking Tools
Wednesday 24th February 2027
9:30AM-12:30PM
Discover how to implement person centred thinking tools in your service. Find out how they can be used to write good outcomes and be used in recruitment.
Day 6
Making Change Happen in Organisations
Wednesday 10th March
9:30AM-12:30PM
Understand about change as a process. Know how to collaboratively develop strategies for change.
